Fusion Owner Receives Prestigious Award

The Convention Industry Council (CIC) announced that it will induct Hugh K. Lee, President, Fusion Productions, into their 2002 Hall of Leaders. The CIC is comprised of 30 leading national and international organizations representing more than 13,000 firms in the airline, hotel, association, and corporate meetings market.

Lee’s focus has been the integration of meeting production, technology, and online education to help deliver an organization’s messages and strategies consistently and effectively.

A seasoned speaker and author, Lee's career highlights include the research and design of: Maximizing Your ROI training program; World Class Web Sites, a study of 10,000 association web sites for best practices and new business models; E-learning, and Associations: digitalNow, the very successful and now annual conference for association executives.

According to CIC President Mary Power, “[The] award recipients were all leaders who have shaped the industry, made contributions of lasting value, proven their versatility, developed new ideas and techniques and demonstrated outstanding service to other meeting organizations and society at large.”
