Fusion Helps PMI Launch Dynamic Global Meeting Website

To grow attendance in a competitive world, the Project Management Institute (PMI) knew they needed to differentiate their meeting experience to reflect the quality of content and networking opportunities available to potential attendees. Additionally, PMI wanted to create new networking experiences and to personalize the conference content by providing a "personal scheduler".

The result is a global congress website that attendees can access to check up on the latest from PMI. 

While PMI initially wanted to use the website to save on the cost of promotional printing, they found that the site also made the process for developing high quality content faster, better and more cost. Fusion and PMI mapped out the entire process from the development of "areas of focus" to content submission applications. An admin area was also created for staff to qualify, assign judges, log-in speaker history information, and send out automated or individual email notifications to volunteer judges who can review abstracts, share comments with one another online and grade abstracts. All abstract grades are tallied in real time with moving averages to determine pass/fail.
