Association World’s "Prime Time Players" Attend 2006 DigitalNow

For the sixth consecutive year, the "little conference" conceived by Fusion Productions and co-produced with Disney Institute made big waves in the association community with a ground breaking lineup of speakers and educational workshops. It also broke previous attendance records, with more than 300 CEOs and senior team members from some of the world's largest — and smallest — associations.

According to Fusion President Hugh Lee, "No association is too big — or too small — to benefit from the knowledge sharing and idea generation engendered at this conference." That statement is supported by a glimpse at the attendee list.

Red Cavaney, former ASAE chairman, and current President and CEO of the one of the world's largest associations — the American Petroleum Institute, attended for a third time, and credits the conference as one of the drivers behind API's strategies. Alongside the giants, there were smaller associations, like the Hydraulic Institute and Pennsylvania Land Title Association. According to Lee, regardless of size, all associations feel the same pain in the Digital Age, and that's why bringing them together as a community has been such a successful venture.

This web site serves as an archive of information and knowledge gathered over the past several years of conferences, and will be the primary resource for information on details for the next conference — to be held April 11-14, 2007 at Disney's Yacht & Beach Club Resorts.
