Jim Pringle, Senior Meeting Producer
Jim’s fresh approach, coupled with a career that has spanned nearly three decades as an award-winning television producer, a highly respected and effective public relations/affairs executive and rich experience in community theater are what makes this seasoned veteran an invaluable resource for Fusion’s clients.
As a television news producer, Jim discovered his own early successes in the fields of investigative journalism and special events programming. From a groundbreaking series on animal cruelty, which peered into the shadowy world of dog fighting and led directly to the first criminal prosecutions in New York State, to specials that included coverage of the U.S. Open Golf Championship and the annual Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon, productions under his watch became known for their memorable moments and sophisticated production values. Following a fourteen-year career in television news, Jim’s special events expertise and his intimate knowledge of the broadcast media helped him make a seamless transition from the private to the public sector.
Jim operated his own public relations and marketing consulting firm, which provided his small business and not-for-profit clients with the critical support they needed to stand out in a busy marketplace.
Jim believes in giving back to his community wherever, whenever and as often as he can. He is past President of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and a member of the Alzheimer’s Association Board of Directors. When he is not acting or producing the latest stage production in his community, Jim enjoys playing the role of coach to his sons’ and daughter’s baseball and softball teams.
