Kay Megorden-Staten, Senior Meeting Producer

Kay offers a wealth of experience spanning 25 years; from business, marketing, communications, and advertising, to events, the arts and program development. Kay holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music and Religion from Kentucky Christian University, Grayson, KY, Cum Laude.

Previously employed as Director of Marketing and Communications by the University of New Hampshire Department of Theatre and Dance, Kay developed and directed 23 annual public programs while generating marketing strategies, original designs, and collateral for 34 programs in 21 differing markets.

In her previous work as Creative Director and owner of an advertising agency, Kay created advertising collateral and branding for customers across the U.S. in all industry sectors. Her innovative marketing and business strategies led to the creation of three television series airing in Hampton Roads Virginia. While in Virginia, her marketing and communication work also influenced the growth of advanced technology companies, R&D, B2B, and economic development.

Kay has successfully developed programs and events that are model programs for non-profit organizations in the arts, technology, and education. Her graphic and artistic research and designs have attracted attention from beyond the target markets to capture the attention of Hollywood and Broadway.

Kay’s accomplishments are recognized globally as she has been selected to the International Who’s Who of Professionals, Outstanding Woman of America, Who’s Who in American Universities and Colleges, America’s Outstanding Names and Faces, and Society of Distinguished Americans.

Kay works hard and plays hard, and has fun in every moment. When she’s not creating or leading, Kay enjoys family, friends and pets, and loves mountain hiking, singles sculling, cross country skiing, yoga, cooking, gardening, deep-sea fishing, and exploring remote areas of the world.
