Jamie McDonough, Director of Meeting and Training Services

During his 19 years with Fusion, James B. McDonough (Jamie) has designed and produced numerous meetings, conferences and instructional experiences. His clients include Price WaterhouseCoopers, Bausch & Lomb, American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), Eastman Kodak and the Project Management Institute. He also produced the White House Conference on Travel & Tourism.

A member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) since 1992, he has had the honor of producing each of MPI's World Education Congresses and Professional Education Conferences since 1993. In addition, he has produced two MPI Professional Education Congress-Europe programs.

Along with Jamie's production of MPI's general sessions, he has produced marketing materials for the launch of MPI's new Professional Development programs and Strategic Plan. In 1995, Jamie wrote and produced the MPI Foundation/Marriott Program Maximizing Your ROI.

Jamie's meeting experience dates back to 1983 where he was a faculty member and Assistant Director of the Department of Instructional Technology at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). In that capacity, he was in charge of A/V production, staging, multi-media development and instructional design. He received his Masters of Science degree in Instructional Design from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1989.

Jamie is currently a member of the MPI Professional Development Strategy Committee and is the 2004-2005 President for the Western New York Chapter of MPI. Jamie has also served as Director of Membership for the Western NY Chapter of MPI. In addition to his membership in MPI, he is a member of ASTD (American Society for Training and Development).
