Lori A. Gable, Meeting Production

As a project manager at Fusion Productions for the past six years, Lori has worked with both association and corporate clients. She oversees the big picture of event design and manages the pre-production details of scripting; speaker support through PowerPoint and video; as well as audio-visual, stage design and entertainment contract negotiations. She then carries through the on-site execution of VIP rehearsals, a/v and set design installation plus video production.

With an Associate's degree in journalism and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, Lori began her career with one year in secondary teaching. Following that, she spent 12 years in broadcast journalism, producing the nightly 6pm and 11pm newscasts at two mid-sized television stations in New York.

As Executive Producer at the NBC affiliate in Rochester, Lori guided her news team to several broadcasting awards including Best Newscast, as honored by the New York State Associated Press Broadcasters Association in 1998.

She also won the Best Documentary award from the New York State Broadcasters Association for her in-depth profile of the National Women's Hall of Fame on its 150th anniversary. High-profile celebrities such as Eunice Shriver, and high-security dignitaries such as Madeline Albright, were included in the production.

Another television special Lori produced on the importance of a major zoo expansion to the survival of certain endangered species won a Best Public Service award from the Associated Press.

Lori's experience in teaching, broadcasting and event production has gained her the skills to be both a leader as well as a team player. Her writing capabilities and video production background enable her to create meaningful media elements that enhance the meeting and reinforce key messages.

As a manager, Lori strives to motivate teammates, be they our internal production group, a client's major stakeholders or an on-site technical crew, to give the best contribution for a successful event of which the entire team can be proud.
