Gino Startari

Since his start with Fusion back in 1998, Gino has worked with the likes of President Bill Clinton, Magic Johnson, Deepak Chopra, Jim Collins, and with many entertainment acts. He is highly effective in the areas of relationship building, communication skills, project management, budgeting time and resources, and execution.

Prior to joining Fusion, Gino spent seven years in the television news industry as a sports anchor and reporter. That career took him to the cities of Wheeling, WV; Pittsburgh, PA; and Rochester, NY. His television experience enabled him to acquire skills in video as well as work under extreme deadlines. Gino’s TV career highlights include the coverage of such major events such as:

• Super Bowl XXX – Tempe Arizona 
• 1994 Major League Baseball All-Star Game – Pittsburgh, PA 
• 1996 & 1997 LPGA Tour Stop – Rochester, NY 
• 1996 & 1997 NASCAR events – Watkins Glen, NY 
• 1994 Nokia Sugar Bowl – New Orleans, LA 
• 1994 & 1995 MDA Telethon Host – Wheeling, WV

Before his career in television news, Gino spent two years as a Senior Accountant with the then “Big Eight” accounting firm, KPMG Peat Marwick where he performed a broad range of budget and audit functions.

In addition to his business experience at KPMG Peat Marwick, he also held the position of Sales Executive with Pitney Bowes – selling mailing and shipping equipment throughout a five county territory.

Gino holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, (one in Accounting and the other in Communications Media). He finished his collegiate days with the following honors:

• NCAA Division II Academic All-American – 1988 
• Varsity Baseball Team Captain and four year starting catcher – 1984-1988 
• Best On-Air Talent - 1991

Gino utilizes his education, business background, and communication skills with clients such as Eastman Kodak, National Court Reporters Association, and Asian American Hotel Owners Association.
